Sunday September 19th - COMMODORE'S CUP Race 

9/18/2004   Due to low temperatures (40's and 50's) and high wind conditions with small craft warnings expected at Budd Lake on Sunday, the Commodore's Cup Regatta has been cancelled.

 Bergen Chapter is hosting the Commodore's Cup this year. ALL SEAS members and guests are welcome to race, 'spectate', socialize and have lunch. 

Come out to Bud Lake in Parsippany N. J.  at 10:00 A.M. and enjoy a day of  excitement as fellow members compete for first place finishes in several categories of sailing with various small craft.  

 

No experience is necessary as time will be provided to acquaint you with the available boats.  

 

Food and beverages will be provided at no cost to you.  

 

It is hoped that you will participate in the competition but if you choose not to that is fine too because this is a day to celebrate the end of our basic sailing program for this year and enjoy each other’s company!

Directions to Budd Lake - 

Monmouth members can take the Parkway North to exit 145 to Rt. 280 West to Rt. 80. 

Westchester members from Tappan Zee Bridge can take Rt. 287 South to Rt. 80 West. Or, from GWB to 95 to 80 West. 

Bergen members can take 208 North to Rt. 287 South to Rt. 80 West.

Take Route 80 West to exit 26 to Route 46 West for about 2 or 3 miles (it becomes a local road while passing through the town of Budd Lake). When you pass the lake on your right, turn into the parking lot by the community beach.
